New Delhi, Oct 8 (IANS) Gautam Gupta is all excited about his debut film, Ram Gopal Verma's "Go", which he believes has changed his life.

"I have high hopes for 'Go' as it's my debut film, but I know it will be a hit only if it interests people," Gautam told IANS.

The actor calls the film light-hearted, based on two teenagers who run away from their homes.

"This film is not to teach or preach anything, people can go as many times as they want to watch the movie and get entertained as the whole film is filled with fun and comedy," he said.

"The best thing about the film is that it has all debutants in it and the kind of ideas these newcomers projected was wonderful," he held.

Gautam belongs to a business family and they own studios in Mumbai, but says that his family never approved of his passion for acting.

"My parents never supported me in this profession. Thanks to my teachers, who taught me dance and acting, I could be confident enough to approach Ramuji," he said.

He calls his mother a real life heroine and Kareena his reel life heroine.

"My mother is my real life heroine as she is pretty, beautiful and dresses like a heroine," Gupta said.

On his future projects, Gautam said: "I have just started with another film by Ram Gopal which is a thriller and Apoorva's film but they have not been titled and I don't know how long they will take to release."
