Mumbai, Aug 30 (IANS) After delivering a box office hit "Chak De! India", which revolves round an Indian women's hockey team and its coach, director Shimit Amin is all set to tie the knot with his girlfriend.

A shy Amin revealed that he would be getting married this year. "We've been seeing each other for a while and now's a good time to get married," Amin told IANS.

"Chak De!" has taken Amin to a summit he never imagined.

"President Pratibha Patil saw the film. She really liked it, though she didn't say much. But it was apparent that she approved of the film," said Amin, who started his career with "Ab Tak Chhappan".

Amin attended the screening in New Delhi with Shah Rukh Khan, producer Yash Chopra and writer Jaideep Sahni. That the film got the president interested is in itself no mean achievement, he said.

The big news is that "Chak De!" has now been given exemption from entertainment tax all over the country.

"But the proposal to do so was put forward long before the president saw the film. I think a tax exemption for 'Chak De!' is just the right prescription.

"Now people who never go to the movies will afford to catch 'Chak De!' I'm glad because it's very important for the film to reach the maximum number of people," he said.

Right now the director isn't thinking of his next film, beyond the fact that it might have sports at its background and Shah Rukh at its forefront.

"Audiences do have certain expectations from me after 'Chak De'. But right now I'm not pushing myself to make my next film. I'm on an extended vacation. I'll be visiting my parents in Los Angeles."
