Guruvayoor (Kerala), Jan 15 (IANS) Bollywood's hottest pair Abhishek Bachchan and Aishwarya Rai, who were engaged Sunday, are to visit Kerala's well-known Sree Krishna Temple in Guruvayoor in early February.

The couple will be accompanied by Abhishek's parents - Amitabh and Jaya Bachchan, said K.V. Nambiar, president of the Guruvayoor Devasom.

"We were told about their visit from Mumbai though the exact dates would be communicated when their programme is finalised. It would happen in the first week of next month," Nambiar told IANS.

"The visit would take place before their marriage," he said.

According to speculations, Amitabh is likely to give an elephant as an offering to the temple.

Abhishek and Aishwarya were engaged at the Bachchans' residence in Mumbai Sunday.

Industry sources said Abhishek popped the question after the international premiere in Toronto Friday of Bollywood film "Guru" featuring the duo in the lead roles.

Rumours had been flying fast for the past few months that she and Abhishek were about to tie the knot. These reports gained added currency after Aishwarya accompanied Abhishek and his parents to perform rituals at a Varanasi temple in November 2006. Click the Movie button below for more info:
