Nayanthara, heroine for Ajith in Viswasam

Ajith’s Viswasam, his fourth time collaboration with director Siva, after Veeram, Vedhalam and Vivegam, will have Lady Superstar Nayanthara as his heroine. Again, this is the fourth time the duo is coming together after Billa, Aegan and Aarambam. Announcing this in their Twitter page, producer Sathyajyothi films tweeted, “We are proud to have #Nayanthara on board as the heroine for #Viswasam @directorsiva #Ajithkumar @SureshChandraa @DoneChannel1”.

The film, which went on the floors, last month had many speculations that suggested Shraddha Srinath was the front-runner to bag the female lead in it. The filmmakers are also in a lookout for a music composer for the project. The original choice, composer Yuvan Shankar Raja, had reportedly walked out of the project due to some unknown reasons days after the project went on the floors.

In Viswasam, which is reportedly set in the backdrop of north Chennai, Ajith is said to be playing the role of honest police officer. The regular shooting will begin from March as the filmmakers are yet to share full details of the remaining cast and crew. Viswasam is expected to hit the screens on Diwali this year.
