Nayanthara did not ask for money, Pandiraj confirms

Simbu’s long in the making film Vaalu finally released and now efforts are on to release his next Idhu Namma Aalu directed by Pandiraj. This film features Simbu, Nayanthara, Andrea, Soori and others. Simbu’s younger brother Kuralarasan has scored music for this film.

Recent reports state that there are some more portions which are to be shot involving Nayanthara but the actress was alleged to have asked for more money to take part in the shoot.

Clarifying all these, director Pandiraj says, “This is totally false. Nayan never asked for any money. I had finished the shoot long back and the film is ready for release anytime. But Simbu and his dad wanted a kuthu number and to shoot that, they sought Nayan’s dates. Although there was no need for that song in the film, I agreed as I would film that in my style. Nayan had earlier given many dates and they were wasted. As far as I understand, Nayan has not asked for her payment and all that she wants is the film to be released soon”.
