Nayanthara as the hearing impaired girl

Naanum Rowdy Thaan is an upcoming feature film that stars Vijay Sethupathi and Nayanthara in the leads. The film is produced by Dhanush for Wunderbar Films and directed by Vignesh Shivan of Poda Podee fame. The supporting cast includes RJ Balaji, Anand Raj and Radhikaa Sarathkumar

The technical team includes Anirudh for music, George C Williams for camera and Sreekar Prasad for editing. The film’s shooting is happening at Pondycherry.

The latest from the team is that Nayanthara is playing the role of a hearing impaired girl in the film. For Nayan, this will be the first time in her career that she will be playing this kind of a role. On the other hand, hero Vijay Sethupathi is seen sporting a clean shaven look and appears like a boy-next door. Naanum Rowdy Thaan is said to be a light hearted entertainer.
