Naveena Saraswathi Sabatham to release on Nov 29

Modern-day fantasy film, Naveena Saraswathi Sabatham (NSS) produced by AGS Entertainments and starring hero Jai in the lead has been cleared by the censors with a U certificate. In fact it is said that the board members were very happy with this entertainer and have appreciated the makers for such a decent work. The makers are now planning to release the film on November 29.

This Tamil contemporary fantasy comedy film is written and directed by K. Chandru. The film revolves around four men, played by Jai, VTV Ganesh, Sathyan and Rajkumar. Niveda Thomas is paired opposite Jai while music is taken care of by Premkumar.

The film was initially named Saraswathi Sabatham, reusing the title of the 1966 mythological film starring Sivaji Ganesan. But fans stated that they would not allow the usage of titles of their idol for comedy films and that they would protest in front of Jai and Sathyan's houses. Hence, the makers were forced to retitle it as Naveena Saraswathi Sabatham.
