National Film Awards: Ayushmann, Vicky Kaushal share honours

Actors Ayushmann Khurrana and Vicky Kaushal shared the Best Actor Award for ‘Andhadhun’ and ‘Uri: The Surgical Strikes’ in the66th National Film awards, which were announced by Rahul Rawail, head of the Jury for feature films, on Friday.


South Indian actress Keerthi Suresh won Best Actress Award for ‘Mahanati’. Four actors get Special Mention for their performances: Sruthi Hariharan, Chandrachud Rai, Joju Joseph, and Savitri Sreedharan.


Awards were given in 31 categories in the feature film category. An Award for the film-friendly state has been instituted this year. Uttarakhand is the most film-friendly State this year.
