Nalan for Hindi Soodhu Kavvum?

Soodhu Kavvum was Nalan Kumarasamy’s first directorial venture and the director’s second film Kadhalum Kadanthu Pogum hit the screens last Friday the 11th of March.

In a recent interaction with the media, Nalan Kumarasamy had reportedly mentioned his willingness to direct the Hindi version of Soodhu Kavvum. He said, “There were things we couldn’t do in the original Tamil version. I know for a fact that there won’t be such restrictions in Bollywood. Hence, I’d love to direct the Hindi version, because with the license to do anything, I can make it a better film”.

The film’s Hindi remake rights were bought by director Rohit Shetty. Nalan also adds, “I know the rights were bought by Rohit, but since then there’s been no update on the project. What I heard is that the makers are finding it difficult to put the right cast together”. Click the Movie button below for more info:
