Naga Chaitanya to reprise Nageswara Rao in Nadigayar Thilakam

Mahanati Savitri or Nadigayar Thilakam is the name of the biopic of yesteryear actress Savitri which is being made as a bilingual in Tamil and Telugu. Keerthy Suresh plays the role of Savitri in the film that is directed by Naag Ashwin.

The film also boasts of a stellar cast in the form of Dulquer Salmaan essaying Gemini Ganesan’s role, Samantha as a journalist and Shalini Pandey as V N Janaki, Vijay Devarakonda, Anushka and others. The latest addition to this star cast is Naga Chaitanya who will be reprising his granddad Akkineni Nageswara Rao’s role in the film. Apparently, the actor is very happy to play his grandfather and immediately agreed to the film.
