Mysskin's Pisaasu is doing well

Maverick director Mysskin’s last film was Onaayum Aattukuttiyum which although appreciated by audience and critics, did not do well in collections. What was very disheartening for the film and the maker was when the film was still at the theaters, it was screened in TV as well.

But this seems to be a thing of the past and his latest release Pisaasu produced by Bala’s B Studios and Thenandal Films starring Naga and Prayaga has garnered not only good reviews but also good collections.

The advance bookings in Chennai city alone are quite promising and if trade pundits are to be believed, the film is on its way to reap rich dividends wherein screens have been increased. This at a time when many screens are being occupied by Lingaa! This augurs well for good cinema made with a lot of sincerity and passion. Kudos Mysskin and the Pisaasu team!
