Makeup Man Malayalam Movie

'Makeup Man' tells the story of cinema within cinema. Directed by Shafi, the film has Jayaram and Sheela in lead roles.

The film inside the film is titled 'Cindrella' and Sheela plays Anamika, the actress doing the female lead in 'Cindrella'. Kunchacko Boban plays her hero in the film, while Siddiq plays Sidharth, the director.

Jayaram plays the lead role in the film; that of Balu, an MBA graduate who decides to join the film industry when he has no other option. With the help of his friend Kichu Manjali, he becomes assistant to Lawrence, a senior makeup man who appoints him as the personal makeup man of Anamika.

Balu soon becomes the most important person in Anamika's life, much to the irritation of people around her. It comes to a point when she has to get rid of Balu from her life, much against her own wishes.

'Makeup Man' marks the coming together of the Shafi-Sachi-Sethu team after the super hit 'Chocolate'.

Prithviraj would also do a cameo in the film along with Kunchacko Boban.

Vidyasagar has composed the music. The lyrics have been penned by Kaithapram.

The film that has been shot on locations at Trivandrum, Cochin and Singapore is a Rajaputra release.
