Haage Summane Kannada Movie
There are some aspects that will be uniformly noticed in any good cinema. Good films always reflect the sincerity of the whole unit and the efforts that are put into making it. Haage Summane which is being made by a unit consisting of a large number of people working for Kannada block buster Mungaru Male is one such good film which provides hard evidence of a competent work by the entire team.
Besides Mungaru Male writer Preetham Gubbi who has turned a director with this film, the technician team of Haage Summane includes Cinemetographer Krishna, Music director Mano Murthy, Lyricist Jayanth Kaikini, Editor Deepu who had worked as a team in Mungaru Male. Gubbi has taken a new team of artists in the film to bring in some element of freshness in the film.
Haage Summane has a simple thread as its story, but its narration is packed by grandiose visual settings and path breaking melodious music. And the visuals and colouring have been extremely good. Gubbi has also come out with a pleasing narrative of the film besides infusing some energy to the dialogues written by him.
There are some minor pitfalls in the film too. Some of the situations in the second half are boring. Gubbi has incorporated some sequences which could have been really chopped off. And a few sequences and dialogues are quite repetitive.
Nothing could be written about Haage Summane without writing on the melodious songs of the film. The film comes alive after a series of dull moments in the songs which have been rendered melodiously by Bollywood singers Sonu Nigam, Shreya Ghoshal, Kunal Ganjawala and Udit Narayan. And the film looks visually stronger because of the type of costumes selected for the lead artists.
Being pampered by his rich father, Preetham becomes a way ward youngster who is unaware of all responsibilities. Even in his education he is just an undergraduate and enjoys being a spend thrift. He has been pampered by his father and grand father. One day he meets Kushi, a music student and finds her doing a disappearing act in minutes. But he finds a dairy that she has left and reads it. It is a love at first sight and the contents in the dairy makes him more determined to seek her. After a hectic search he finds her. But later he finds out that the dairy is not written by her. But still Preetham wants her and tries to appease her in many ways. In an engrossing climax both Preetham and Kushi understand the extent of love towards each other.
Both Kiran and Suhasi are perfect choices for the roles they play. Both look gorgeous on screen and have shown that they are equally competent to deliver. And the Veteran artists have also chipped in their best in the film.
Haage Summane stands good with good presentation and melodious music.
Director Preetham Gubbi has done a neat job. Go and watch it.
