Hailessa Malayalam Movie

Thaha, the man who had directed the blockbuster Ee Parakkum Thalika, one of Dileep's biggest hits, comes back with Hailessa, a light entertainer with Suresh Gopi in the lead.

Hailessa has as the central character Unnikrishnan, a school drop-out who works in a fertilizer company run by one Madhavan. He is more like a member of Madhavan's family. Madhavan's son Ulpalakshan is Unnikrishnan's friend and constant companion.

One day Unnikrishnan sees an ad in the paper saying that a millionaire businessman in the city is on the look-out for a guy who could assist him. Unnikrishnan goes to the city and becomes the assistant to the businessman, Ganapathy Iyer.

Soon Ulpalakshan too follows Unnikrishnan and comes there and he too gets employed there. Unnikrishnan and Ulpalakshan become the trusted aides of Ganapathy Iyer. The story takes a twist with the entry of a girl by the name of Shalini.

Suresh Gopi, who usually specializes in doing action roles, gets to play a different character as Unnikrishnan. Suraaj Venjaramoodu becomes the hero's aide, Ulpalakshan while Laloo Aalex is Ganapathy Iyer. Muktha George of Achchanurangaatha Veedu fame is Shalini, and Vijayaraghavan becomes Madhavan. The film is produced under the banner of Kichu Films by Jagadeesh Chandran, the producer of the Suresh Gopi-starrer Thaavalam.
