Manassinakkare Malayalam Movie
Kochu Thresia (Sheela) is old and lives a lonely life in a big bungalow. Her husband died a few years back and her children have abandoned her. Kochu Thresia is a 60 plus rich lonely lady who is jovial and talkative living in a huge farmhouse. Her neighbors Reji (Jayaram) and his father Chacko Mappila (Innocent) are hardworking and helpful. Thresia has everything but no one to love and care for her. Slowly Reji wins her over by his good nature and Thresia helps the father and son by solving their problems. She becomes very attached to them. Small incidents that follows between Kochu Thresia, Reji and Chacko Mappila forms the rest of the story.
Manasinakkare is a pleasant movie like any other Sathyan Anthikkadu movie where you will find humor and sentiments in the right dose. Sheela makes an excellent come back as Kochu Thresia. She should thank Sathyan for giving her such a meaty role. Jayaram as usual the best as the simple "normal" young man whom we rarely see in Malayalam Cinema these days. Innacent, Siddique, KPAC Lalitha, Nedumudi Venu and Oduvil Unnikrishnan have given an outstanding performance. It's promising debut for Nayantara. Manasinakkare has some good melodious songs by Ilayaraja. A good family entertainer.
