If you're expecting a product as good as Pyaar Ke side effects (also produced by PNC), forget it. Just married, is quite similar to Honeymoon Travels Pvt Ltd. But unfortunately, the movie fails to entertain and ends up disappointing.

Story - Marriages are made in heaven and consummated on Earth. It's the beginning of an anticipated romance and not the climax. Just Married produced by Pritish Nandi Communications (PNC), holds a mirror into life after marriage. Unlike most movies which illustrate the life of lovers, this movie reveals the unsaid and unpredictable part that is life after marriage. It's the beginning of the end of most other movies.

Abhay Sachdeva (Fardeen Khan), a foreign return with a MBA degree and a job at Multi National Company, is not just friendly, lively and determined but an embodiment of an Indian traditional and responsible young man. He agrees to an arranged marriage with a girl his parents have chosen for him. Ritika Khanna (Esha Deol), a young vivacious lady, is jammed to surprise when her parents announce their decision to get her married to an absolute stranger. Abhay and Ritika tie the nuptial knot.

The two unacquainted souls are entwined into one and set to seek love between them. The 5 days honeymoon trip to Ooty, is the beginning of their life as husband and wife. Is there any miracle of love and happiness in the air? Do they fall in love as expected to be? Will this marriage survive? Will this be the beginning of the end?

Direction - Meghna Gulzar tries hard to even make serious scenes look funny, but falls flat. As a writer too, she fails. The audience just cannot connect with the 2 lead characters. Rest of the characters are wasted. What exactly are they doing in the movie? Music is below average while the cinematography is brilliant.

Acting - Satish Shah and Kirron Kher as the couple married for 40 long years, impress. They get the best of dialogues.

Fardeen Khan and Esha Deol - As the understanding and caring husband, Fardeen finally manages to impress. On the other hand, Esha Deol's performance is anything but convincing.

Perizaad Zorabian is sweet and lovable. The rest are strictly okay.

Overall -

Positives - Actually None. But the movie is a visual treat, each frame is drool worthy.

Negatives - The length, screen play, characters, direction... Almost everything

Box Office Prediction - With absolutely no hype surrounding the movie and being such a weak product, Just married has no chance at the box office. DISASTER.

Rating - 1 / 5 (Just skip it)
