Taarakasura, a demon, receives a blessing from Brahma that he can only be killed by Shiva`s son. He starts dominating the gods, leading them to ask Shiva to marry Parvati. After their marriage, their son Subramanya is born and ultimately defeats Taarakasura, restoring peace. This marks the end of Taarakeshwara.
