Prakash Raj is the local landlord, a man of substantial resources who also has a sworn enemy. His sister Anuradha who is doing her studies in London is back home on vacation, and is given a tumultuous welcome in the village. Her cousin Deepak and close friend Bhadran also come to the village about the same time. Though Bhadran had heard of her, seeing Anuradha in the flesh knocks him off his feet. In the middle of the celebrations the enemy strikes. Prakash Raj has a miraculous escape, courtesy Bhadran. In gratitude he decides to give Anuradha in marriage to Bhadran.
On the day of their engagement the enemy strikes again. Prakash Raj isn’t that lucky this time, and gets killed. Anuradha falls in the clutches of the villain but Bhadran rescues her after killing one of the gang members. He takes her home, but folks at home oppose the move. When they learn about the tragic happenings however, they relent. But Bhadran does not disclose to others his affection for Anuradha or his marriage to her. Having to live like a stranger in the house of her own fiancé does not appeal to her. At this juncture the determined enemy seeks them out in Bhadran’s village, and the two decide to make a last ditch stand.
Brahmam has Meera Jasmine in the lead role as Anuradha. Ravi Teja plays the role of Bhadran. Pradeep Singh of Gajjini and Thotti Raja fame is the villain of the piece. B. Sreenu directs the film and also does the script.
