'Panthu' is an exhilarating movie that focuses on an avid football fan, nine-year-old Aamina. It also encircles the life of a village in Northern Kerala by braiding myths and folklore to it. But all of a sudden the strongly going narration falls apart with the intervention of a cliched subplot.
