Set in a semi-urban township, the movie goes about how an over-ambitious 'tapori' Santhu plots to win an MLA seat and defeat an ex-MLA, who happens to be his loan-shark mother's arch rival. Santhu's loyal gang of friends provide the comic relief. Santhu falls for a girl whose mother owes him money. The plot takes a twist when Santhu's sister falls for a guy, who is in love with the ex-MLA's brother-in- law's sister. What follows is a laughter riot with the ex-MLA and Santhu's gangs fighting it out.
