The story centers around two odd ball characters- one is a youngster from Fort Kochi named Jude and the other, a talented singer from Goa named Crystal. When these two characters come together, their lives undergo several changes, leading to love, self-discovery, healing and transformation.

This film and its protagonist have same traits-straightforward and honest. What strikes you next is the wrap of subtle humor that adorns director Shyamaprasad's film about a person afflicted with Asperger syndrome. Except these facts and the introduction of such a developmental disorder, 'Hey Jude' faces the stumble block of not having the element of indispensable conflict that arrests viewers.

Every person is eccentric in his own way. So there is no point in calling the other abnormal. The only way out is helping the other discover himself through the manifold manifestations of love. Shyamaprasad exemplifies this in the backdrop of Goa and the mesmerising Goan life. He has done an excellent job and so also has the cinematographer Girish Gangadharan and music director Ouseppachan. Nivin Pauly, Siddique , Vijay Menon and Trisha have presented memorable performances. Don't miss it.
