'Aaradi' is an exceptionally good movie which shakes the very core of your conscience. India has been through seven decades of pro- independence, but the mindset of the people deep-rooted in casteism has changed little. The politicians give great promises, but finally when it comes to taking decisions, casteism rules. The harijans have been downcast and trodden upon by the elite caste. This theme has been given an excellent treatment by the director Saji Palamel. Waiting to see more from him.
