Jeethu Joseph’s ‘Oozham’ is an action entertainer starring Prithviraj in the lead role of Surya. Neeraj Madhav does a full length character named Ajmal, along with Prithviraj.

Balachandra Menon as Krishna Murthy, Divya Pillai, and new face Rasna do the other prominent roles. The film also features Pasupathy, Seetha, Kishore Satya, Anand, Tony Luka, and Anson Paul.

‘Oozham’ is a revenge family drama with a right amount of action in it. Rasna and Neeraj Madhav play siblings to the character of Prithviraj.

The music is composed by Anil Johns and the cinematography is done by Shyamdutt. ‘Oozham’ is produced by G George, Anto Jose Padinjarekkara and Jinu Mathew under the banner Fine Tune Pictures.

It requires some very special effort to make a revenge saga appear amazing these days; and director Jeethu Joseph, armed with a hum-ho script and a storyline that is as decrepit as the ancient Roman empire, appears clueless in 'Oozham' as to how to keep his audience occupied. Regardless of the countless explosions that 'Oozham' has in store, it strikes the viewer as little more than a mere mock drill that leaves nothing but some black smoke in its wake.

I felt like some grip missing just after some minutes into the movie. The real killer instinct was missing. The posters n making reminded of an earlier Prithvi starter 'thriller'. Sadly I think this too will have a similar fate.
