Prakashan (Unni Mukundan) is the main electrician in the village. He also owns a shop. He is a live participant in all the activities in the village including arts and sports.

Shivettan, Kuriachen, Sankunni, and Kochutten are his friends. Prakashan’s marriage is fixed with Aswathy (Sanusha). Meanwhile, Prakashan acquaints Parvathy (Prayaga Martin) and the resulting interesting incidents are plotted in ‘Oru Murai Vanthu Parthaya’.

Aju Varghese, Tini Tom, Saddique, Bijukkuttan, Prasanth, Bindu Panicker, Kochupreman, and Seema G Nair also include the cast.

The script is penned by Abhilash Sreedharan. Vinu M Thomas composes music for the lines of K R Narayanan.

Those memories of 'Manichitrathazhu' that you have very carefully preserved, need to be left there intact. Do not, in any case, carry them over with you, as you venture out to find out what 'Oru Murai Vanthu Parthaaya' is all about. Putting in its best to infuse some life into a frail script, 'Oru Murai Vanthu Parthaaya' does not much rise up to the challenge of prevailing over the shortcomings of its material.
