Sathyaraj has a joint family of four brothers and a brother-in-law (Rao Ramesh) running their family business, a paint factory in Vijayawada. Rao Ramesh plans to wed his daughter (Pranitha) with Sathyaraj's son (Mahesh Babu). But then he discovers that he is love with Kasi Annapurna (Kajal Aggarwal), an NRI. He seethes in anger and confronts with Sathyaraj and then cracks begin to develop in the beautiful family. Rest of the story is how Mahesh heals the broken hearts and gets his family back on track.

Brahmotsavam turned out to be a disappointment. The major credit of this should go to the director who despite having every thing at his disposal, failed to translate the good point in to a good film. Except for few scenes mainly around the interval and climax, the film is boring especially with those never ending lengthy dialogues. Lets see how it fares at the box office!
