Dhikkulu Chudaku Ramayya could have a very better film if it is finished under 2 hours. There is too much of lag in the film which makes the audience restless especially with a predictable story. However the team needs to be appreciated for their attempt. A ONE TIME WATCH!

Gopala Krishna (Ajay) gets married very early and will have two sons. In his late 30s, he wants to get back his missed teenage. He happens to meet Sameeta (Sana Maqbool) and will very soon fall for her after befriending her. At the same time, Gopala Krishna's teenage son, Madhu (Naga Shourya) also woos Sameeta. Rest of the story is about the fight of the son and father over a single girl and who wins the race.

Ajay gets a prominent role for the first time in his career and tried his level best to make use of it. May be due to his inexperience in emotional characters, he could not emote well in those scenes. Naga Shourya is cool in the funny scenes but have to improve a lot in expressions during emotional sequences. Sana Maqbool is pretty and is decent in her debut. Indraja makes a graceful comeback and is good to see her back. Rest of the actors like Ali, Posani Krishna Murali, Brahmaji and Pavani Reddy are good in short roles.

Trik

oti, a former associate of Rajamouli forayed in to industry with this film as a director. He opted for a not Rajamouli kind of film. The storyline inspired from films like American Beauty, The Love Boat and Damage is novel to Telugu audience but the director failed to execute it well with the right emotions.

MM Keeravani has delivered a top notch album as well as rerecording. Cinematography by Rajasekhar is neat. The dialogues are very natural. Editor should have trimmed a good portion in the second half of the film. Production values by Varahi Chalana Chitra are grand.

Dhikkulu Chudaku Ramayya could have a very better film if it is finished under 2 hours. There is too much of lag in the film which makes the audience restless especially with a predictable story. However the team needs to be appreciated for their attempt. A ONE TIME WATCH!
