Govindhudu Andhari Vaadele Telugu Movie
Balaraju (Prakash Raj) is a noble man in a village. He has two sons - one of those, Chandrasekhar is highly educated and the other (Srikanth) is fun loving guy who neglects education and always irritates his father with his irresponsible behaviour. Prakash Raj pins all his hopes on his other son and educates him well. He wanted him to become a doctor and serve people of the village.
On expected lines, Prakash Raj's son studies well and become a big doctor. However he opts a lucrative career in London to the social service motive of his father and flies to London breaking the heart of Prakash Raj. Years later Abhiram (Ram Charan) is born to him and grows up to a handsome young land. Charan comes to know about the mistake committed by his father. He comes back to India and enters the family with out revealing his identity. Rest of the story is about how he wins their hearts.
Coming to performances, Ram Charan is attempting a complete family entertainer for the first time and he has come out very well. Acting in a Krishna Vamsi film is a real test to any hero having to appear in too many closeup scenes and acting with several artists. Charan delivered a much improved performance from his previous even though there is a room for improvement.
Prakash Raj and Jayasudha were brought in to the film midway but they have stole the show and justified the change. Srikanth has put up a decent show and he can definitely extend his career with similar roles. Kajal is dead drop gorgeous and Kamalini Mukherjee is lively. Adarsh performed well in negative role. Rest of the characters are okay.
Krishna Vamsi is back with his trademark family entertainer. He is under tremendous pressure after all those flops and changes to the film midway but he delivered goods at the end. The story offers nothing novel you get to draw interferences with films like Seetha Ramayya gari Manavaralu, Murari etc. But he made sure the emotional connect lingers with the audience. The second half of the film is the heart and it went well despite some inconsistencies.
Yuvan Shankar Raja's songs were good and were promoted to next level with KV's kind of taking. Sameer Reddy's camera work is colourful. Naveen Nolli's scissors should have been effective in the second half. Production Values are grand.
Finally, Govindhudu Andari Vaadele is a good family entertainer with emotional connect despite the missing of the WOW factor. With this Charan is expected to break the 8th film jinx.
