Tiyasha Bengali Movie Review

Tiyasha Bengali Movie

Feature Film | 2013
Critics:
Tiyasha is a film that deals with normal everyday problems that almost half the couples face in today's world. There is possibly nothing new and the film is very incomplete in ever way.

Desperation and the urgency to earn money at most times snatches away the interest of an individual to be himself/herself and also at those moments they can't possibly follow their hearts.

Director Animesh Roy's Tiyasha explores such boundaries of a couple who are struck between the ideas of basic livelihood and sacrificing their hearts call for the sake of survival. The film is the story of Sudipto (Saswata Chatterjee) who wants to make it big in the music industry, for which he sacrifices his father's money and the luxuries coming with it.

But the failure to make a mark with music leads him to take up a job in Marketing, in order to sustain the livelihood of his family and himself. When all these sacrifices fail to work for him, Sudipto decides to start a business of his own. And as fate has it, he does not inform his wife Riya (Chandrayee) about the same.

Riya dumps him and leaves with their son Tojo(Soham). The film from here moves on through evets to bring back the couple together and how the love lost Sudipto and Riya once again comes back together as a couple. The two prime characters Saswata and Chandrayee are good and do a lot acting wise to keep the film afloat.

The cliched script and storyline however acts as a spoilt sport and becomes the primary reason for the failure of Tiyasha.

Tiyasha is a film that deals with normal everyday problems that almost half the couples face in today's world. There is possibly nothing new and the film is very incomplete in ever way. You do not have to jump to watch this as too soon it will be fitted into the film slot of your daily channels.
