Sampoornesh Babu (Sampoornesh Babu) is an orphan who fails in love. Later he turns in to a burglar and starts robbing 'ocal groceries, super markets and electrical shops. A special search squad in deployed to catch him under Bhairav Rathode (Mahesh Kumar Kathi). They finally manages to nab him. Then the film takes an interesting twist which reveals Sampoo's past love story and his reason behind the robberies.

Sampoornesh Babu is the film's biggest strength. His funny off screen antics are used very well on the screen too and the audience instantly connects to him. His expressions and dialogue delivery are top notch. Heroines Kavya Kumar and Ishika are good. Mahesh Kathi is decent. There should have been a better cast for the doctor role.

Director Steven Shankar (Sai Rajesh) took pot shots on various mass masalas in Tollywood in his debut movie. But he himself was struck in the formula. The spoofing goes overboard and at one point diluted the over all impact.

Music is in tune with the overall proceedings. Background score is good. Cinematography is inconsistent and editing is messy in parts.

Hrudaya Kaleyam is a senseless film with no logic or proper filmy syntax. But if you know this guy Sampoornesh Babu you will enjoy the movie. If you do not know him, stay far!
