Sathyan Anthikad’s upcoming movie Puthiya Theerangal revolves around the life of fisherman folk. As usual he titled his new film almost towards the end of the shooting.
Puthiya Theerangal tells the story of the affectionate relationship between a young girl and an old man. Thamara was all alone after she lost her parents and makes a living as a fisher woman. Meanwhile an old man comes into her life who she sees as her father. The plot also encompasses an underlying theme of selfless love between Thamara and Mohanan.
After a while Sathyan Anthikad is directing a film not scripted by him. Scripted by Benny P Nayarambalam, the cast includes Nivin Pauly, Nedumudi Venu, Namitha Pramod, and Innocent.
