Milind Rau on his film Aval

We had reported recently about Siddharth’s production venture, a trilingual that was named as Aval in Tamil and The House Next Door in Hindi and Gruham in Telugu. This film belongs to the horror genre and the trailer that was released has many chilling moments.

The film is directed by Milind Rau who elaborates about his venture. He says, “Aval will be true to its genre. It is not diluted or it is not a horror-comedy. Like the recent Hollywood horror film Annabelle Creation; we have made this film with that sort of texture”.

He also mentions about his friendship with Siddharth which goes back to the days of Mani Ratnam’s Kannathil Muthamittal where Milind and Siddharth worked as assistant directors. About Siddharth and Andreas’ roles in the film, Milind says, “He says, ““Siddharth and Andrea are husband and wife in Aval. Andrea comes as a homemaker.
