Mersal teaser on Atlee's birthday

The teaser of Vijay starrer Mersal which was supposed to be released on the day of audio launch did not happen. However, the makers have announced the date of teaser release through their social media page.

The teaser of this much awaited film will be released as a gift to its director Atlee for his birthday, which is on 21st September, which is just a couple of days away. Producer Hema Rukmini on behalf of Thenandal Studios Limited, which is bankrolling the venture, tweeted, “#MERSALTeaserFrom21stSep #6PM #TSL100 #AtleeBdayTreat #MersalArasan #vaaraan @ThenandalFilms @Atlee_dir @MuraliRamasamy4

This has really pepped up the fans. Mersal featuring Vijay, Kajal Aggarwal, Nithya Menen, Samantha and others is expected for a Diwali release.
