Meera Mithun joins Thaana Serndha Koottam

Suriya’s Thaana Serndha Kootam being directed by Vignesh Shivan is nearing its finish line as the release date has been announced as Pongal 2018. The film has an ensemble cast in the form of veteran actor Karthik, Keerthy Suresh, Ramya Krishnan, Nandha, Senthil, Kalaiyarasan and others.

Now, as per the latest information, actress Meera Mithun would be joining the cast. The model-turned-actor, who was a part of 8 Thottakkal, is said to have an important role in the Suriya-starrer. However, the makers are yet to announce this officially.

The film has Anirudh’s music and two singles, Naana Thaana and Sodakku, have already been released to a thunderous response. Gnanavel Raja is producing the film while Dinesh Krishnan cranks the camera and Sreekar Prasad edits the film. Sun Pictures obtained the right to distribute the film.
