Meena Kandasamy turns to acting

Acclaimed poet Meena Kandasamy who is known for her strong themes and women centric poems is debuting as actress in a Malayalam movie. The movie titled Oralpokkam is directed by Sanal kumar Sasidharan. The film is being shot in Kedarnath.

Meena essays the character of Maya in the film and the movie is about the man-woman relationship and the ensuing emotional turbulence.
