Brahmotsavam to be directed by Srikanth Addala will be a bilingual in Tamil and Telugu which will mark the entry of Mahesh Babu into Kollywood. Although through his dubbed films, Mahesh is familiar with Tamil audience, this is the first straight Tamil film that the actor will be featuring.
He has three heroines to romance in the film in the form of Kajal Agarwal, Samantha and Pranitha. Earlier Rakul Preeth Singh was rumored to be in the film. Now it looks like she has been replaced.
The film is all set to begin its shooting in mid July and mostly will be a Pongal 2016 release. Rathnavelu Randy will be the cinematographer while Mickey Myers will be the music director and Sreekar Prasad will be editing the film. Said to be an action cum romance entertainer, Brahmotsavam is eagerly anticipated.
