M Rajesh to direct Sivakarthikeyan

Director M Rajesh, considered as the humor specialist, has not been having hit films recently. He was to direct Santhanam who is his lucky mascot. But it looks like this project is being pushed into a backburner now and Rajesh will direct Sivakarthikeyan now.

As per the latest report, there will be a meeting between Rajesh, Sivakarthikeyan and producer Gnanavel Raja, whose banner will be producing the film, this week, and an official announcement will be made soon.

Rajesh is tightlipped about it and says, “I can’t give out any details now, but yes, it’s true that we are in talks. The script has been finalised and we are discussing other modalities. We should be able to announce the project by this week. Sivakarthikeyan is a huge star among the kids and family audience love him to bits. So, this one will be a complete family entertainer which has its heart in its place.”
