Lyca Productions buy the rights of Spyder

Spyder, the upcoming bilingual in Tamil and Telugu is being directed by AR Murugadoss featuring Mahesh Babu as the hero. The film is a much anticipated in Tamil too because of the director’s credentials and also as it marks the first direct film of Mahesh Babu.

Last night, Lyca Productions who are bankrolling Shankar-Rajinikanth’s 2.0 announced through their Twitter space that they have bought the rights of Spyder. Raju Mahalingam, the Creative Head of Lyca tweeted, ““AR Murugadoss most ambitious project with Mahesh Babu, SPYDER rights has been obtained by Lyca!!! Mega opus magic continues with Lyca....”

Spyder is getting ready at a feverish pitch and would be gearing for a release in mid September. Harris Jayaraj scores music for the film which has the ace cameraman Santhosh Sivan behind the lens.
