Karthik Subbaraj to direct Rajinikanth for his next

The much talented director Karthik Subbaraj has impressed the audiences with his Pizza, Jigarthanda and Iraivi till now. His next release would be Mercury, a silent film starring Prabhu Deva which is expected to hit the screens in April.

Now, for the most unexpected and exciting information, the director would be calling the shots for Rajinikanth in his 5th film to be bankrolled by Sun Pictures. The production house announced this through their official Twitter page which read, “.@SunTV is happy to announce #Superstar’s next colossal production with @SunPictures. #SuperstarwithSunPictures @superstarrajini @karthiksubbaraj”.

Karthik Subbaraj on his part stated, “Really Can't express my happiness in words... My most treasured dream come true moment... Thanks a lot Thalaivaaaaa... @superstarrajini & @sunpictures ...”.Wishes have been pouring in for this combination since then. All other details regarding the cast and cew would soon be announced.
