Karthik Kumar clarifies on his wife Suchi's controversial tweets

For the past couple of days, netizens were in for a rude shock when they got to see tweets of singer/actor/RJ/VJ Suchitra aka Suchi which were controversial. Her tweets had attacked Dhanush and also the spiritual guru Jaggi Vasudev. Suchitra had also shared a picture of a bruised hand stating it was the act of Dhanush and team. She also said that her account was not hacked.

Yesterday, her husband and stand-up comedian Evam Karthik Kumar had tweeted asking people to respect their privacy. He tweeted, “Suchi’s activity on twitter has no factual basis guys. The issue is different & personal. Pls extend understanding and let be for the while.”

However, today, he posted in his facebook page saying that Suchi’s twitter account was hacked. “Good morning. The last few days have been very disturbing for us as a family as Suchi's twitter account was hacked. Today we have retrieved her account. All the tweets published last few days were not by Suchi and are completely false. I personally apologise to all the people concerned as I understand the stress it would have caused them. I request the media to show sensitivity and not sensationalise this. Thank you all for the support.''
