Karthi to play a pilot's role on Mani Ratnam's next

Ace director Mani Ratnam is currently busy in the pre-production work of his next film. The project is continuously in the limelight ever since its announcement.

The cast kept changing. Karthi and Dulquer were said to be in it initially but later, Dulquer opted out. Same was the case with Keerthy Suresh too. Premam fame Sai Pallavi was also dropped from the project recently and Aditi Rao Hydari has taken her place now.

The latest from this project now is that Karthi will be playing the role of a pilot in this film and he is taking flying lessons in Chennai. It is also said that Mani Ratnam has gone on a location hunt in Shimla and sources say that there would be important portions. It has to be mentioned that Mani Ratnam gives importance to the locations in his film. And one can expect Shimla to provide that for the director.
