Karan Johar announces next as director

Filmmaker-producer Karan Johar, who is away from filmmaking, announced his next film as director. Titled 'Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani,' he has also set its release date for April next year. Karan’s last outing as director was 'Ae Dil Hai Mushkil' in 2016.

He took to his Instagram to share the news of the film's release date. He shared a long note on his Instagram.

The star cast includes Ranveer Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, Shabana Azmi and Jaya Bachchan among others. The film has Pritam as the music director and Amitabh Bhattacharya as the lyricist. he has also set its release date for April next year.
