As we all know, Kangana Ranaut has been preparing for over two years now for Ketan Mehta’s biopic on the warrior queen. Apparently, the film has been delayed for too long because of differences of opinion between Kangana and Ketan.
As per a report, Ketan Mehta intended on making his film in English for an international audience. But Kangana, who has also co-written the script supposedly felt that it won't go with the ethos of the story and hence has decided to make the film sans Ketan.
Apparently, the film, which is now in the process of getting a big studio on board, will now be directed by Krish of Gabbar Is Back fame.
In fact, Kangana, reportedly, will be shooting for the first poster of the film tentatively titled Manikarnika on her birthday i.e. today. Manikarnika was Rani Lakshmibai's birth name and the film will be an action-packed adventure. Manikarnika will go on floors by May.
