Kamal says rehearsals are essential

The audio launch and the second trailer of the film Thoongavanam directed by Rajesh M Selva featuring Kamal Haasan, Trisha and others happened yesterday the 7th October at Sathyam Cinemas, Chennai.

The event was attended by cast members that included Sampath, Madhu Shalini, Kishore and the technical crew. Fellow fraternity was represented by Gautham Menon, Ameer, Vishal, Sripriya, Vaiyapuri, Karunas, Dhanush, Ponvannan and others.

Speaking at the function, Kamal said that rehearsals are very essential to complete the film on time which will again benefit the producers. He said that they had shot for 60 days for Thoongavanam and since it is a bilingual, 30 days for each is the way it has to be considered. Thoongavanam has just one song scored by Ghibran and the film is gearing up for a release for this Diwali. Sanu Varughese is the cinematographer of the film.
