Kalyani Priyadarshan roped in for 'Maanadu'

Actress Kalyani Priyadarshan, daughter of ace filmmaker Priyadarshan, has been roped in to play the female lead in Simbu starrer 'Maanadu'.

This Venkat Prabhu directorial is produced by Suresh Kamatchi under the banner V House Productions. The pre-production work for the film is going on in full swing and the shooting is expected to begin late January.

Touted to be a political thriller, the film marks the STR and Venkat Prabhu’s first collaboration.
