'Kai Po Che' to open film fest in Florence

Mumbai, Nov 20 (IANS) Critically acclaimed film "Kai Po Che" will open the 13th River to River Florence Indian Film Festival here Friday. Director Abhishek Kapoor will be present for the film's Italian premiere.

The film, based on Chetan Bhagat's bestseller "The 3 Mistakes of My Life", narrates the story of three friends who share a dream, but a sudden earthquake and the outburst of deep religious and political conflicts between Hindus and Muslims, disrupt the course of their lives.

It stars actors Sushant Singh Rajput, Amit Sadh and Rajkummar Rao (earlier known as Rajkumar Yadav). The movie had its world premiere at the 63rd Berlin International Film Festival.
