Kabir Duhan Singh is the baddie for Vijay Sethupathi in Rekka

Rekka is an upcoming film being directed by Rathina Siva of Vaa Deal fame. The film has Vijay Sethupathi and Lakshmi Menon as the lead pair. The film gets a new baddie in the form of Kabir Singh whose first Tamil film was Ajith’s Vedalam.

On signing Rekka, Kabir Singh says, “I had a dream debut and I didn't want to fritter that chance away. This film with Vijay Sethupathi came to me a while ago, but the makers were having trouble with the narration. I had to get a secretary who knows Tamil, and only then could we actually sit and discuss the storyboard”.

On the hero Vijay Sethupathi, Kabir says, “I did some research, and heard a lot of positive things about Vijay Sethupathi. I am told he is a great guy, that by nature and attitude he's a humble person, and work wise brilliant, and this also prompted me to accept this role.
