Kabali gets U and release date announced

Amidst a lot of speculations about its release, finally Ranjith directorial Rajini starrer Kabali went for Censor certification last evening, 11th July at BOFTA screening theatre in Chennai. The film has got U certification and the duration is 152 minutes.

A much elated producer Kalaipuli Thanu revealed the information through his official Twitter handle that read, “ '#Kabali has been certified as Clean 'U' | Runtime - 152 Mins. Let the Celebration begins. #Magizhchi @superstarrajini @beemji”. He further updated on the release date as well when he tweeted, “#Kabali will be releasing worldwide on 22 July 2016 !! We couldn't be more excited @superstarrajini @beemji :)”.

With these two important announcements, the trade is heaving a great sigh of relief. The Hindi audio launch of the songs is also happening today, the 12th of July. Kabali features Radhika Apte, Dhansika, Kalaiyarasan and others and the music is scored by Santhosh Narayanan. Click the Movie button below for more info:
