Jai was almost a showstopper in Atlee’ Raja Rani. The talented actor will now be seen in this Friday’s release Pugazh which is directed by Manimaran who made Udhayam NH 4. Pugazh will have Surabhi as Jai’s on screen partner.
Talking about his role in the film, Jai says, “I play a normal, middle class guy living in Ranipet. This film is about how a normal, simple guy takes on a corrupt politician. In every region, there will be someone like the character I play, and audiences everywhere will be able to relate to it. Secondly, there is a political fight in this film, which I liked”.
Pugazh has RJ Balaji playing Jai’s friend’s role and Karunas as supporting cast. Vivek-Merwin scores music while Velraj has cranked the camera. He also plays a cameo in this film. Varun Manian has co-produced the film. Click the Movie button below for more info: Pugazh
