Actor-filmmaker Arbaaz Khan, whose "Dabangg" and "Dabangg 2" featured item numbers, says such item songs are trending upwards in commercial films now.
"It's become a trend now, but I put item songs in my films depending on the subject of the film. Maybe, I will not put an item number in my next film. You never know", he said in a group interview.
"It all has to go well with the subject. We call it as item number. I don't like these tags. For me, music plays an important role", he added.
