It was Ajith who decided on Vedalam title

Ajith’s Vedalam is getting ready to be a Diwali treat for his fans. The film directed by Siruthai Siva has Shruti Haasan as Ajith’s love interest and Lakshmi Menon as his sister. The pictures that were released recently had been liked by all.

When asked about the title of the film and who was the reason behind naming it that way, Siva says that “Vedalam is the name of Ajith’s character in the film and we were contemplating on other names too. Since Ajith’s last film Veeram also had V as the first alphabet and M as the last, Ajith felt that we could have the title as Vedalam itself”.

Siva also says that the brother-sister chemistry in the film will appeal to the audiences and that Lakshmi Menon had done a superb job as Ajith’s sister in the film. Her first shot was to look at Ajith in a very affectionate and prideful manner which she had done it with a lot of ease. Click the Movie button below for more info:
